More than a button!
My enthusiasm for buttons began with a fancy button bracelet that I discovered at a Christmas market. Now I not only design my own jewellery, but also pictures and postcards. What colour is for a painter are for me pearls, sequins, crystals, and buttons. For me they symbolize the joy of life in their colourful diversity and always open up new creative possibilities for me.
My button art images are designed with great attention to detail. Once every button and pearl has found its proper place, I digitalise and refine my pictures even further so they can be used in various ways. Many of my images are inspired by scriptural verses.
I created my own way of lettering. I call it Pearl-Lettering.
I want to leave the trodden paths and create new and unconventional art and jewellery. Taking this as my motto, I create my DanisButtonBracelets. Each bracelet is an eyecatcher outside the mainstream, whether it is multicoloured and opulent, elegant and noble, combined with mother-of-pearl, or crystals, made of Vintage buttons, or of traditional dirndl buttons.

For me, the joy of creative design is a gift from God. It is my little oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of life, for which I am very grateful.
